Panormos Village
Panormos is about 18 km from Skopelos town if you follow the coastal road through Stafilos and Agnontas and 12 km if you take the shorter route through the Agios Riginos provincial road.
Panormos’ nature and blue waters are the unique characteristics of this little coastal town. Panormos is known for its gorgeous sunsets. Its natural harbor Blo, is considered to be a safe haven for sail boats.
Panormos was one of the three ancient fortified towns of Skopelos Island. The top of the hill above Panormos is named Paliokastro. There you can find ruins in very good condition from the walls of the ancient city. From Paliokastro there is a path that leads to the cave of Panas. This place called Spilia, is the only place of worship of the deity of Panas on Skopelos.
